As one of the final handful of drivers to be announced as invitees, Spencer Hyde and his team had just a few weeks to prepare for the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod presented by J&A Service. Once on the grounds at Bradenton Motorsports Park, they qualified on the bump spot of the 32-car field, making it in by just one thousandth of a second. But through a combination of hard work, stellar reaction times, and a race car that got progressively quicker on race day, Hyde earned the $100,000 win.
