Drag Illustrated has covered drag racing from the starting line since October 2005. It started as a magazine built by racers, for racers. Today it’s the sport’s leading media company: a print magazine published six times a year, DragIllustrated.com, The Wes Buck Show, the Crew Chief Daily newsletter, live Event Hubs from the biggest races of the year and a social audience that follows the sport 365 days a year.

Our reporters and photographers are at more than 100 drag racing events every season. That covers NHRA national events and the big-money Pro Mod shows down to no-prep, small tire, Top Alcohol and bracket racing. We write for the people who make the sport go: drivers, tuners, crew chiefs, team owners, builders, track operators and the companies that back them. We cover it from the pits, not the grandstands, and we name names.

DI is also home to the franchises the industry circles on its calendar. The DI Power 100 ranks the most influential people in drag racing, and DI 30 Under 30 puts a spotlight on the next generation running the sport. DI Top 8 and DI Incrementals keep score all season long. Every spring our signature event, the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod, brings the best doorslammer racers in the world together for a race built on honor as much as money.
