XDRL to Release 2013 Schedule Saturday at IMIS

MPH Motorsports, LLC is pleased to announce the formation of a new drag racing series called the X-treme Drag Racing League (XDRL).

The newly-formed XDRL has also announced it has secured an exciting, action-packed race schedule for the 2013 race season, which will be revealed during the official XDRL press conference at 11 a.m. on Saturday during the International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

The entire schedule for the inaugural 2013 season, along with numerous other details regarding the league will be revealed during the official introductory press conference.

The XDRL will also be holding a special reception on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Omni Severin Hotel Ballroom in Indianapolis that is open to all race fans, sponsors and teams.

The XDRL will offer a minimum of eight events and a maximum of 10 events for the 2013 campaign, including stops at several of the nation’s most prestigious tracks.

Additionally, the XDRL has already secured a number of major and class sponsorships, as well as strong support and endorsement from the icons of the industry, including Jerry Haas Race Cars, Precision Turbo and Engine, Five Star Race Car Bodies, Sonny Leonard Engines, Tim McAmis Race Cars and many more.

The X-DRL will offer competition and 1/8-mile racing in eight professional categories for the 2013 season. Those classes are:

  • Pro X-treme
  • Pro Nitrous
  • X-treme Pro Stock
  • Pro Turbo
  • X-treme Pro Mod
  • Top Dragster
  • Top Sportsman
  • Pro Junior Dragster
  • Supercar Showdown

The status of Pro Extreme Motorcycle is still undecided at the time of this release.

The leadership and executives from the XDRL also commented on the new series and its plans for the 2013 season:  “We are thrilled for this new venture and we are working diligently in preparation for the 2013 season. We are really looking forward to giving fans a lot of exciting info for the 2013 season at our introductory press conference at the IMIS show.
