This Saturday, August 29, two of the stars of the mega-hit show, “Street Outlaws” are coming to the “Doorslammer Capital of the World” , historic Piedmont Dragway for a best two-out-of-three match race. Slated to participate is the “Street Beast” Monte Carlo of “Doc” taking on the split-bumper ’71 Camaro of “Monza”. Both of these cars are big cubic-inch Chevys with large doses of nitrous.
Also on the property will be the Carolina Class Racers Association with their wheel-standing competition. Competing for points this weekend will be racers in the 4.70 Heads Up Outlaws, Mickey Thompson 6.0 Raiders, and the Deep Creek Motors 7.49 classes.
