Spring Fling Promoters Stun Drag Racing with Million Dollar Plan

What possibly could be the biggest news to hit the drag racing world, Spring Fling co-promoters Kyle Seipel and Peter Biondo are looking to gamble in Las Vegas by committing to raising the level of excitement of the K&N Spring Fling Vegas.

Enter the Spring Fling Million, coming to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in April 2016. While the majority of the event will stay true to the current Spring Fling Vegas event, the Saturday portion will be paying the winner life-changing money.

“The Spring Fling Million will be very similar to what we do now at our Spring Fling Vegas,” says Biondo, “but with purse increases in both Pro and Super Pro. The Pro class will pay $5,000 to win on Thursday, $10K Friday and $10K Sunday for a total package entry fee of $450.

“Super Pro will pay $10K Thursday, $20K Friday and $20K Sunday with a total package entry fee of $575,” Biondo continued. “But the level of intensity and excitement will ramp up on Saturday with our Spring Fling Million main event.

“Since Kyle and I started the Spring Fling brand in 2010, our goal was to grow it into the biggest and most prestigious bracket race in the world, and we believe the Spring Fling Million in Vegas has the potential to be exactly that.”

As racers first, Biondo and Seipel have been to east coast Million Dollar events in Rockingham in the early 2000’s and more recently in Alabama and are very excited to bring a huge event like this to the west coast.

The Saturday Spring Fling Million event will have a stand-alone Saturday entry fee and payout (to be released soon) that guarantees $100,000 to the winner and $50,000 to the runner up with $1000 round money starting with 3rd round winners.

“This $200,000 purse is 100% Guaranteed, even if we get a low car count,” said Seipel. “But the beauty of this is that as the car count goes up, so does the winner’s purse.  Peter and I believe it has the realistic potential to pay $250,000 to $400,000 to the winner with the car counts we draw and if racers flock to the ‘Fling like they have been known to do, we can be the first ever drag race to pay One Million Dollars to the winner!”

Whatever the case, the Spring Fling Million Saturday event will be paying out life-changing money and there’s no better place to do it than Las Vegas! Stay tuned to www.bracketraces.com as Biondo and Seipel will release more exciting details of this event soon. If you have never been to or raced in Las Vegas, mark your calenders. The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is guaranteed to be rockin’ in April 2016!
