Snyder Cruising to Corvette Country

Known as the Corvette capital of the World, Bowling Green will be the host for the next stop on the Snyder Motorsports’ 2016 Schedule. This race marks the final stop on the NHRA Division 3 Schedule. It will also be the final chance to get some quarter mile numbers out of the Supercharged, ComSyncEFI Corvette. The 5-time Season Champs have qualified near the top of the Top Sportsman pack and have been going rounds all season. The Powersource Transportation Team is currently in the Top 10 in both NHRA Division 3 and PDRA points. They would like to keep the great performance going this weekend in Corvette Country. The NHRA Lucas Oil North Central Finals at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY will be held on August 26th through 28th.

“It has been a heck of a season for the Powersource Transportation team. With just two races left, it’s nice to look back on a good year. We have been performing well, going some rounds and even managed to find the winner’s circle once. This Supercharged, Electronic Fuel Injected combination has really proved its value in a short period of time and our Lencodrive Transmission has really finished off the package perfectly,” Snyder stated.

“This weekend, like the last few, will be another hot and muggy one. I doubt we will see stellar numbers, but I am really excited to get out and make some quarter mile laps, peddle some Snyder parts and hang out with racing friends and customers. It has been a few years, a couple classes and a few organizations since we have earned a little Wally, it would sure be nice to do it here at our Corvette’s ‘home’ track.”

The first of 3 rounds of qualifying for the NHRA Lucas Oil Regional begins on Friday at 3:30 PM. Qualifying continues on Saturday with the final 2 chances to make the 32 car field beginning at noon and 3:30 PM. Final eliminations begin at 10:30 AM on Sunday.
