Simpson Introduces Two New Head & Neck Restraints

Simpson has introduced two new head and neck restraints just in time for the 2015 racing season. Whether you prefer the yoke style of a HANS device or the strap design of the Hybrid, Simpson has something new for you to consider.

Hybrid Pro Lite

The Hybrid Pro Lite is the lightest frontal head restraint in the Hybrid family. The device features a powerful design that is 30% lighter than the original Hybrid Pro. Its numerous features will give you every reason to upgrade your driving experience. The Hybrid Pro Lite is both SFI 38.1 and FIA certified and is now available for racers in all forms of motorsports. The sleek device is made in the USA of ultralight, high quality carbon and retails for $999.

The Hybrid Pro Lite features an efficient tether system design that results in smooth side to side motion. A thinner back plate, encapsulated tie plates and graceful tether grooves, all come together and provide a multi-tasking device that protects with tested and proven high performance technology. A full size range of XS-XL provides a comfortable, custom-like fit for all racers.

Simpson Performance Products also introduced the advanced HANS III device during the prestigious Performance Racing Industry Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The HANS III is the lightest weight composite HANS device in the world, is made in the USA, and is approved for competition by the SFI Foundation and the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

The HANS III represents the third generation of injection molded HANS devices and features a contemporary approach to reducing weight. Using an all new design and polymer, the device features a hollow collar that substantially minimizes weight. Engineered reinforcements ensure an exceptionally strong structure that provides the same level of safety as every HANS device. The reduced mass guarantees the lightest and most comfortable injection molded HANS ever. The HANS III retails for $649.
