Qualifying is currently on hold at the Summit Racing Equipment Shakedown at the Summit 14 presented by Mickey Thompson due to intermittent rain showers. The third qualifying session was completed in Open Comp, Ultra Street, X275, and Outlaw Limited Street before rain halted the action. Holbrook Top Sportsman will be next on the Summit Motorsports Park quarter-mile, followed by Callies Pro Street, Precision Outlaw 10.5, and ProLine Outlaw Pro Mod for their third qualifying session. A fourth and final session was scheduled for tonight, though the current weather forecast does not look promising. Track president Bill Bader Jr. has made it clear that qualifying will be completed tonight. Eliminations are scheduled to begin at 9 AM Sunday morning.
