According to a Jan. 4 report by Jim Hahn at ArizonaAutoScene.com, a large portion of the old track at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ, has been torn up and currently is being resurfaced with reinforced, eight-inch thick concrete.
Baker Construction, a company that has built eight NHRA national tracks, was chosen to do the work, which is expected to be completed by the end of this week, with the track ready to open again by the end of January.
