Racepak Data Systems will be backing one of their own, Cameron Ferré, as Ferré and Miersch Racing compete in the Top Alcohol Dragster (TAD) class at this weekend’s 50th Annual Auto Club NHRA World Finals.
Multi-licensed driver Ferré began piloting Larry Miersch’s A-Fuel dragster in mid-summer 2014 and has since made four appearances driving for Miersch Racing in 2014. When not in the seat of a racecar, Cameron is a sales and technical support team member at Racepak.
Given that 2015 is Racepak Data Systems’ 30th year of business, Racepak president Tim Anderson noted: “What better way to kick off our anniversary than flying the Racepak name at 275 MPH with one of our Racepak employees behind the wheel? We are thankful Miersch Racing and Cameron helped put this opportunity together for us.”
“I could not have asked for a better rookie campaign in Top Alcohol Dragster,” said Ferré about the opportunity. “To have my employer stand behind me and support my dreams is a testament to what a great company I work for”
In addition to the on-track activities, Racepak will be hosting a trackside seminar today (Nov. 13) at 6 p.m. at the Racepak motor home located in the Pomona trackside motor home parking.
