PDRA Returning with Same Class Line-up in 2015

The Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) announced Nov. 24,  that the same nine classes it operated in its initial 2014 season will return next year. For 2015, Pro Extreme, Pro Nitrous, Pro Boost, Pro Extreme Motorcycle, Extreme Pro Stock, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Pro Junior Dragster and Top Junior Dragster will be contested at each of 10 PDRA national events.

“We had a great turnout of racers for our inaugural year,” PDRA Director Bob Harris said. “All classes are a big asset to the PDRA and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2015. We want to thank all our sponsors, racers and fans for a great 2014 season, as well as the media for their great coverage and support.”

Drag Race Central covered the PDRA Championship Finals from Virginia Motorsports Park this season and will return in 2015 to report from every event, posting live, round-by-round results at www.dragracecentral.com.

“We’re excited to have results posted on Drag Race Central next season,” Harris added. “We’re glad to be with them because all the racers love going to the central place for drag racing results online. We look forward to the upcoming PRI Show and our 2014 awards banquet where we’ll make further announcements for the 2015 season.”

The PDRA’s first awards banquet will be held Dec. 13, at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis in conjunction with the annual PRI racing trade show.
