ProMedia Events is pleased to announce that there are two Racer Appreciation Parties scheduled for the upcoming Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street-Legal Drag Racing event, which takes place at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois, the weekend of July 26-29, 2018. This extra special event is billed as the “Super Bowl” because the NMRA class champions will take on the NMCA class winners for an all-out slugfest to see which series team, NMRA or NMCA, will take home the Nitto Tire Diamond Tree championship rings!
Before the huge on-track competition begins, the event will kick-off with a casual and fun party hosted by Nitto Tire. The longtime NMRA/NMCA sponsor continues their tradition with an annual Racer Appreciation Happy Hour following the Test & Tune on Thursday, July 26, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on the Manufacturers Midway. Join Nitto Tire, NMRA, and NMCA racers, crews, staff and media for cold beer, drinks, snacks and music at this “open to everyone” mixer.
Precision Turbo & Engine will once again host their PTE Customer Appreciation Party on Friday evening at the NMRA/NMCA car show tent on the manufacturers midway. This special event provides dinner and drinks to PTE customers and a chance for racers to mix with each other and the Precision Turbo staff. With racers in every class from Xtreme Pro Mod to Coyote Modified, Precision Turbo is sure to pack their annual Customer Appreciation Party with some of the fastest NMCA and NMRA racers on the planet.
