NMCA is kicking off the 17th annual Honeywell Garrett All-American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park with a full Thursday Test & Tune (August 23) that is open to all event competitors. The All-American Nationals, happening August 23-26, 2018, will be one of the biggest and most talked about street-legal events of the year as the NMCA event hosts the prestigious Ford Performance 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet Reunion, presented by TascaParts.com, and the popular Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series.
“The Thursday test and tune began last year and it certainly helps keep our program moving better by starting earlier. It improves the racer’s experience and we are anticipating well in excess of 500 cars entering competition with all of the special add-ons on this event,” said Rollie Miller, general manager of NMCA. The test and tune is available for an additional fee and is available at the NMCA Registration trailer. The test session will feature the typical features of an NMCA event with great racing surface conditions thanks to the starting line crew led by Kurt Johnson of Total Venue Concepts and chief starter Jake Green.
Brought to you by E3 Spark Plugs, the NMCA All-American Nationals features insane heads-up VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mods, Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Holley EFI Factory Super Cars, Vortech Street Outlaws, ATI Performance Products Nostalgia Super Stockers and much more as the season heats up at Summit Motorsports Park! The All-American Nationals also features a large manufacturers midway, awesome Muscle Car & Hot Rod Car Show Saturday & Sunday, and special race classes including the F.A.S.T. group, the Ford Performance 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet Reunion, the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series, Mickey Thompson Heavy Street, and the Dodge / Mopar HEMI Shootout.
