With 20 minutes to go before the final round at Street Car Super Nationals: Anarchy at the Arch IV, Mother Nature decided to shut down the festivities Saturday night at Gateway Motorsports Park with some unwanted moisture. As a result, finalists split the winners’ purses, ending a night of incredible side-by-side racing throughout all the Premier Street Car Association classes in attendance.
“We really had a good night going,” said SCSN Promoter Mel Roth. “We had upsets, amazing numbers, and a crowd that was really into it. Given the forecast, we were lucky to get what we got, so we’re just happy we were able to put on a good show for the fans and provide the racers with an amazing racing surface.”
Five classes were unable to complete finals rounds Saturday. These are the pairings for those groups:
Precision Turbo Pro Mod (Mid-West Pro Mod Series): Ron Muenks/Jonas Aleshire
Morrow Bros. Ford Radial vs. World: Mark Micke/Dwayne Mills
Mickey Thompson X275: Marty Chance/Cecil Whitaker
VP Racing Fuels LDR: Travis Esselegn/Shane Stack
