The Greg Morris Memorial Golf Foundation was started in 2004 by Circus Motorsports and a group of individuals that saw a need to bring encouragement, fellowship, and financial assistance to the world of motorsports by providing committed volunteers with positive leadership and standards of excellence in order to meet practical needs.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. the tournament will begin with a shotgun start. Check in will begin at 9:00 am at the clubhouse. The course is located just north of Midlothian at Highway 287 & HWY. 360 at 3750 National Parkway in Mansfield, TX 76063.

At the conclusion of the tournament there will be an awards dinner with trophies presented followed by an auction. The four-player team, Florida-scramble-type tournament is open to all NHRA Pro and Sportsman racers, crew members, staff, sponsors and/or their families.

Morris_tourney2All proceeds after expenses go to NHRA racers/members in need. This year, we will be offering a chartered bus to and from the event for the first 55 players that need a ride. The bus will leave at 9:00 am from the Motorplex sportsman pits and go straight to the golf course for check-in and will leave as soon as the awards and auction is complete.

Again this year, NHRA and The Texas Motorplex have extended their invitation to park early (Tuesday evening September 16) and then tech your car. NHRA and the Texas Motorplex requires racers that want to park early must be pre-entered into the golf tournament as a player or sponsor and on the NHRA parking list by Friday, September 12, 2014, with absolutely no exceptions!

We look forward to another very successful golf tournament. This year we will have a playoff hole to decide the Ultimate Champion Team and a long-drive playoff to determine a King of the Long Drive champion. Please contact myself 972-937-4336 or Gregg Odom 214-707-3470 for additional information regarding sponsorship pricing or any ideas you may have to make your experience better.

Please join us for an awesome day of fun with your friends, competitors, and sponsors.
