Justin Curry, who made headlines as a perennial frontrunner in the early days of True 10.5-tire racing, is at it again, this time taking shots at the record books with his nitrous-injected small block Chevy-powered ’68 Camaro. At there recently completed X275 shootout at North Star Dragway in Denton, Texas, Curry laid down a ridiculous 4.519-second lap in the semifinal round of action. In the final, surely looking to dip into the 4.40s, Curry poured the coals to it…perhaps a little bit too much.
