Force Expands Partnership with Lucas Product Line with Slick Mist at St. Louis

At the end of the 2014 season John Force Racing announced they would be partnering with Lucas Oil as their official oil starting in 2015. The alliance of two of the biggest names in drag racing seemed like a natural at the time. Forrest Lucas and his family have been involved in all levels of drag racing and motorsports and John Force and his family have set the standard for dominance in Funny Car as well as having success in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.

This weekend John Force Racing will be expanding that partnership again with the addition of Lucas Slick Mist as the primary sponsor on Forceā€™s Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car at the AAA Midwest Nationals. This will be the second week in a row for a specialty Funny Car for Force who last week raced a Jeff Gordon Tribute Funny Car to a semi-final finish.

ā€œWe are promoting Lucas Slick Mist this weekend and I have to thank the Lucas family for sponsoring me this race and growing our program. Forrest Lucas and his family have done so much for this sport and I could not be prouder to race this Chevy with his name on the side. This is race is sponsored by AAA Insurance which is another one of our sponsors and we will be battling for all our sponsors this weekend,ā€ said Force, who has two wins in 2015.

In addition to the primary logos on Forceā€™s Funny Car all the JFR race cars will feature Lucas Slick Mist decals as well for the rest of the season.

Lucas Oil Slick Mist is a polymer paint gloss intensifier, which can be used on other surfaces such as glass, chrome and vinyl decals. Slick Mist is great for cars, trucks, boats, airplanes and 10,000 hp Nitro Funny Cars. Slick Mist can be used as a traditional wax, quick detail spray or spray it on your vehicle between rinsing and drying for the easiest polish job ever. It can be sprayed on a wet or dry surface and then wiped off for a great shine.
