The Farks Supercars/American Racing Headers 2010 Camaro has repeatedly set the drag racing world on fire, cranking out blistering speeds and super low ETs at drag strips all over the nation.
The most recent jaw dropper came at the NMCA’s 8th annual Muscle Car Nationals at Summit Motorsports Part in Norwalk, OH, where Louis Filippides dropped the independent rear suspension (IRS) record once again with an 8.17-second pass at a blistering 171 mph. The short time was an ultra-quick 1.30-second 60-foot, but the car has been a best of 1.22, demonstrating there’s plenty of potential left.
The late-model Camaro relies on a ProCharged 430-cube RHS LSX bullet with BMR Suspension components getting all that power hooked up. The Farks/ARH Camaro’s IRS rear suspension is upgraded with BMR’s Drag Racing Suspension Package (DRP007), which consists of lower control arms, trailing arms, upper coil-over mounts, and rear brake conversion for 15-inch wheels (BCP001).
Congratulations to Louis, Farks Supercars and American Racing Headers on the new record and flat-out amazing performance. Look for Louis Filippides, Farks Supercars/American Racing Headers Camaro, and BMR Suspension to break into the seven-second zone very soon!
