CV Products to Offer Qualifying Bonuses for EOPM Racers

As the Extreme Outlaw Pro Mods (EOPM) invade historic Darlington Dragway on June 25, Drag Race Team Leader Matt Giangrande, of CV Products, has announced that CV Products, in nearby Thomasville, NC, will reward the number four and eight qualifiers with a $250 bonus each. In other EOPM events this season, CV will again offer similar bonuses to other qualifying spots. There will also be rewards paid for Low ET and Top MPH at select events throughout the remainder of the 2016 season, so stay tuned for future Racer Rewards announcements.

The event shapes up as the usual battle of the top names in Pro Mod. Tommy Franklin won the only previous event at the Super Chevy/EOPM combo race at Virginia Motorsports Park a few weeks ago.

With cooperation from the weather, EOPM series director Rick Moore looks to have an eight-car field, with other events this season anticipating a 16-car field.

The staff and management of the EOPM would like to also thank title sponsor VP Racing Fuels for their continued support and this event’s presenting sponsor, Diamond Piston, a division of Trend Performance Industries.

Darlington Dragway will hold a test session on Friday, June 24th, that will occur late in the day in order to avoid the heat. EOPM competition will kick off on Saturday, June 25th.
