EPIC SAVE: Lamar Swindoll Jr. Goes for a Ride

Texas-based racer Lamar Swindoll Jr. had one extremely close call at No Mercy V: Cleared For Takeoff when his radial-tired Chevy Nova carried the front wheels out to 330-feet and the car drifted well out of the groove. Incredibly, Swindoll was able to keep the flat-black hot rod off either wall and save himself from what most assuredly would have been a serious impact.
