Two Comedy Legends Take the State at SEMA Show 2024

Jay Leno (pictured) and Gabriel Iglesias will share their passion for cars and the automotive hobby with attendees during a special SEMA Central Stage event at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The SEMA Show is thrilled to announce an exclusive event featuring two of the most iconic car-loving comedians in the industry: Jay Leno and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. Known for their passion for cars and the automotive hobby, Leno and Iglesias will share stories, laughs, and insights at the SEMA Central Stage in the Grand Lobby at 11 a.m. PT Tuesday, Nov. 5. The 2024 SEMA Show takes place Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.

Leno returns to the SEMA Show in celebration of a milestone: his 20th year at the Show. It all began in 1994 when he unveiled his Buick Roadmaster, marking the start of a long relationship with SEMA. Renowned worldwide for his extensive collection, which includes more than 250 vehicles and 250 motorcycles—from rare classics to high-performance builds—Leno has channeled his passion into his award-winning Jay Leno’s Garage show on YouTube, with new episodes every Monday morning, and a successful line of premium car care products, trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Leno will also play a key role in the Show’s opening event, joining the Kickoff Breakfast on Tuesday morning to interview automotive influencer and YouTube personality, Freddy Hernandez—AKA Tavarish.

“We are excited and grateful to have both Jay Leno and Gabriel Iglesias joining us this year,” said SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola. “Their passion for cars and dedication to the hobby exemplify the spirit of the SEMA community. We thank them both for supporting our industry, being a part of this year’s Show, and sharing their stories with fellow enthusiasts.”

Widely recognized for his love of Volkswagens, Iglesias owns 18 VW buses, including the iconic 23-window 1956 Wolfsburg edition Type 2 and a rare 1950 Volkswagen Beetle Hofman edition. In addition to his impressive VW fleet, Iglesias’ collection includes powerful muscle cars such as a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS with under 900 miles, 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT convertible with less than 500 miles, and a 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona Hellcat with a manual transmission.
