TechForce Foundation and SEMA Show Open Nominations for 2025 Techs Rock Awards

Do you know a student or working technician who deserves the spotlight? The TechForce Foundation, in partnership with the SEMA Show, is proud to launch the 2025 Techs Rock Awards, recognizing the talented individuals driving the future of technical careers across the country.

Now in collaboration with the SEMA Show—the official host for 2025—the Techs Rock Awards are shining a national spotlight on technicians who exemplify passion, skill, and impact in their fields. From students just getting started to seasoned professionals, these awards celebrate those making a real difference in the world of hands-on, skilled trades.

Nominations are now open at TechForce.org/TechsRock through Monday, August 11, 2025. The awards are open to technicians in a wide range of industries, including automotive, diesel, collision, welding, restoration, HVAC, and more. Anyone can submit a nomination to recognize a deserving individual.

Two grand prize winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas, exclusive access to the 2025 SEMA Show floor, and national recognition as a Techs Rock Award winner during the show.

“As demand for skilled technicians continues to grow, it’s more important than ever to celebrate the individuals who are keeping our world moving,” said Jennifer Maher, CEO of TechForce Foundation. “This partnership with the SEMA Show amplifies our mission and gives these techs the recognition they deserve on one of the industry’s biggest stages.”

In addition to the awards, SEMA Show registration is now open. Professional attendees can register for $75 through Friday, September 26. Rates increase to $100 starting September 27. A SEMA Show badge provides access to both the SEMA Show and AAPEX. Hotel accommodations at the lowest guaranteed rates are available exclusively through SEMA’s official hotel provider, onPeak.
