Strange Engineering Continues Major Sponsorship with Drag Illustrated Winter Series Presented by J&A Service

Drag Illustrated today announced that Strange Engineering, one of the most respected and enduring brands in the drag racing industry, will continue its major sponsorship of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service for the 2025-26 season. The partnership extends a relationship that spans decades of innovation, racer support, and championship-winning performance.

Known for its world-class driveline and suspension components, Strange Engineering has long been a trusted ally of the Pro Mod community. Their continued support of the Winter Series deepens their investment in a three-race championship that has become the epicenter of elite doorslammer competition.

“Strange Engineering has been a cornerstone of the drag racing industry for decades, and we’re thrilled to have them continue as a major partner of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series,” said Drag Illustrated Founder and Winter Series promoter Wes Buck. “Their unwavering support of racers, coupled with their commitment to innovation, perfectly aligns with the spirit of this series. This partnership means a lot to us, and to the racers who depend on Strange components round after round.”

Strange Engineering’s involvement includes returning as the presenting sponsor of the Racer Welcome Parties at the U.S. Street Nationals and the World Series of Pro Mod – a pair of gatherings that have become beloved traditions for teams, crew members, and industry partners. These events offer a relaxed atmosphere for racers to reconnect before the intensity of qualifying begins, and they have quickly evolved into signature moments of the Winter Series experience.

“As a big thank you to everyone, Strange Engineering is extending our sponsorship of the Racer Welcome Dinners at both the U.S. Street Nationals and the World Series of Pro Mod,” said J.C. Casio, Director of Business Development at Strange Engineering. “The upcoming DI Winter Series will be very exciting, and continuing our involvement was an easy decision. We use these events to learn, evolve, and develop new products based on real feedback from customers. We’re proud to support the racers who push the limits of our components every weekend.”

The Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service includes the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals, U.S. Street Nationals, and the World Series of Pro Mod – three of the most competitive and culturally significant events in modern doorslammer drag racing. Strange Engineering’s ongoing partnership once again reinforces the importance of supporting the racers who make these events possible.
