While others debate the merits of zoomie headers versus bull horns on nitrous cars, David Brinkley adds another option to the mix with his flame-throwing hood-exit zoomies. Brinkley’s FuelTech-controlled “Patriot” ’68 Camaro is powered by a Musi 959-cubic-inch engine. The team raises awareness and funds for Racing for Veterans USA, a 501c3 organization. Brinkley has driven the Patriot to numerous no-time shootout victories, including the N/T 275 win at Battle of the Thrones at Civil Wars.
