Staging Lanes: Nick Davies Creates ‘Havoc’ in AA/FA Fuel Altered

Nick Davies hangs the front wheels in his appropriately named “Havoc” AA/FA Fuel Altered at Santa Pod Raceway’s annual Dragstalgia, a celebration of all things nostalgia drag racing. Davies battled an ill-handling car throughout the event yet still managed to reach the final round of the Cannonball portion of the event, which brings together nitro- and methanol-burning nostalgia Funny Cars, front-engine dragsters, and Altereds. Despite his best efforts, Davies fell in the final to Tim Garlick in his consistent “Apache” Nostalgia Funny Car.
