Silver State $30,000 Wednesday saw 484 entries stage up for the first round at the Moser Engineering Spring Fling Million presented by OPTIMA Batteries at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Racing action concluded after the second round with lowered track temperature and rising humidity.
Due to several weather delays and multiple oil downs, the Fling Team has made the decision to make the following adjustments to the schedule. Thursday and Saturday’s $30,000 races will be combined into one $60,000 race.
Laris Motorsports Insurance Thursday will begin with a new entry time trial at 8 a.m. We will then pick up with the third round of the Silver State $30,000 Wednesday race. Following the completion of the $30K, the plan is to run round 1 and the Buyback Round of the 60K combined race.
Friday’s Million main event will run as scheduled, and the $60K race will be concluded on FTI Performance Saturday.
The Fling Team would like to extend their appreciation to the Total Venue Concepts and Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dragstrip crews for their hard work preparing a safe track surface for everyone on property.
