After a weather-delayed Saturday night at Darana Raceway, the final rounds are now set for the inaugural IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series event in Hebron, Ohio.
In Top Fuel, No. 1 qualifier Scott Palmer powered his way to the final with wins over Chuck Loftin and Lex Joon, while Krista Baldwin earned her spot by defeating Mitch King and Doug Foley.
On the Funny Car side, Del Worsham drove through the field – taking out Jack Wyatt and Terry Haddock – to earn his shot at Mike McIntire, who advanced with victories over Jody Austin and Joey Haas.
Final eliminations are now scheduled to resume Sunday at 10 AM local time, with championship matchups across the board still to come at this IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series season opener.
