Due to potential inclement weather on Friday evening, NHRA announced an earlier start for Friday qualifying at the 20th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park to ensure all professional categories complete both scheduled qualifying sessions.

The revised schedule moves the first round of NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series qualifying to 11:45 a.m. ET, starting with Pro Stock Motorcycle and Pro Stock, followed by Funny Car and Top Fuel. The second qualifying session is slated to start at 2:15 p.m.

Gate opening times will remain unchanged. The NHRA and Bader family appreciate the cooperation and flexibility of our race teams, partners and fans regarding the schedule adjustment to deliver a great day of racing.

Racing will begin at 8 a.m. in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series on Friday, with action also set to take place in the JBS Equipment NHRA Pro Mod Series presented by Elite Motorsports and Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown.
