Right Trailers Powers Up NHRA’s Big Double-Header at Gainesville Raceway

The 2025 NHRA season is off to a thrilling start, and Right Trailers is set to play a major role in two of the most anticipated events at Gainesville Raceway: Lucas Oil Division 2 kick-off, the Baby Gators, and the 2025 Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals. With a long history of supporting drag racing at every level, Right Trailers is taking its commitment to the sport to new heights this year with exciting events and a significant new sponsorship.

Celebrating Sportsman Racers at the Baby Gators

The NHRA Division 2 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Baby Gators, taking place from February 27 to March 1, will bring together top-tier racers from around the country. Right Trailers will be part of the action as a sponsor of the Sportsman Appreciation Night on Wednesday, February 26. This special event, taking place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. inside the Top Eliminator Club at Gainesville Raceway, is open to all racers, their families, and crews.

In partnership with Laris Motorsports Insurance, Right Trailers is excited to offer drinks, snacks from Mission Foods, and an ice cream truck for the attendees, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere to kick off the weekend’s racing. The event is free to all participants and a perfect way to honor the sportsman racers who form the heart of NHRA drag racing.

Michael Scott, President of Right Trailers, also a sportsman racer, shared his enthusiasm.

“We’re excited to come together with the racers and their families to celebrate the start of the 2025 season,” said Scott. “Sportsman racers are at the heart of this sport, and this is a chance for us to thank them for their passion and dedication.”

Right Trailers Powers Up the Gatornationals

Following the Baby Gators, the legendary Gatornationals has the spotlight from March 7-9, and Right Trailers will make a major impact. On Friday, March 7, at 6 p.m., Right Trailers will host a free BBQ for racers and their families at their midway. The event will feature delicious food — hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and desserts — along with family-friendly activities like corn hole and ladder golf.

“We wanted to create a relaxed, fun environment where racers and their families could unwind and enjoy some time together away from the track,” said Scott. “It’s our way of giving back to the community that supports us, and we’re excited to bring everyone together for an evening of good food and games.”

In addition to the BBQ, Right Trailers is stepping into the spotlight with the Right Trailers NHRA Top Fuel All-Star Callout on Saturday, March 8. This high-stakes specialty event features eight of the top drivers in the NHRA Top Fuel category, and Right Trailers is proud to be the title sponsor.

“We’re thrilled to sponsor the Top Fuel All-Star Callout at such an iconic event like the Gatornationals,” Scott added. “This is a unique opportunity for us to be part of the fast-paced action in the Top Fuel class, and we’re looking forward to seeing what these drivers put down.”

The Top Fuel All-Star Callout is a one-day event that will see the top seed, Steve Torrence, select his first-round opponent, followed by the rest of the matchups. The driver who records the quickest winning run will choose their semifinal opponent, making for a dynamic and exciting race format.

A Legacy of Support for NHRA Drag Racing

Right Trailers has long been committed to drag racing, from supporting the NHRA Summit Jr. Drag Racing League to being named the title sponsor for the Top Dragster and Top Sportsman classes. Over the years, many drivers who started in these programs have made their way to the top levels of NHRA competition, including Top Fuel.
