Randy Meyer Racing Adds INA Towing Network to the Team for 2025

NHRA World Champion team owner Randy Meyer today announced the addition of a multi-faceted marketing partnership with the INA Towing Network, the nation’s leading provider of Emergency Roadside Services for truck fleets and the transportation fleet management industry. Their new partnership in conjunction with the Towing and Recovery Association of America, Inc. (TRAA) will launch with a major presence at the annual Tennessee Tow Show in Chattanooga, Tennessee, September 27-28, at the Chattanooga Convention Center, and the racing debut of the TRAA and INA Towing Network branded dragster at the 2025 NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, March 6-9 at the historic Gainesville Raceway.

Randy Meyer and his daughter Megan Meyer will promote a ‘Slow Down Move Over’ national awareness campaign to spotlight the men and women of the towing industry who risk their lives assisting motorists at the roadside. “As a professional racer we train to always be aware of our surroundings. Sadly, first responders, emergency workers and tow truck operators continue to be struck while aiding motorists on the side of the road because a passing vehicle did not slow down and move over,” said Megan Meyer, a multi-time NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster World Champion. “We are working together with TRAA and INA Towing Network to promote state and federal Slow Down Move Over laws that were enacted to save lives. This will be an ongoing relationship that is much more than a logo on our race car.”

Randy Meyer Racing will kick-off their Slow Down Move Over national awareness campaign at the Tennessee Tow Show by displaying the all new TRAA and INA Towing Network branded dragster as well as hosting a major Press Conference on Friday, September 27 at 2 p.m. ET at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Representatives from a variety of highway and public safety organizations are scheduled to be in attendance including representatives from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Chattanooga City Mayor’s Office, Chattanooga Fire Department, Chattanooga Police Department, and the Towing & Recovery Association of America, Inc. and INA Towing Network.

“The press conference and our involvement with the Tennessee Tow Show will be the first step in spreading our Slow Down Move Over message, with support from the INA Towing Network and the Towing and Recovery Association of America, Inc.,” said Randy Meyer. “We will be racing the TRAA and INA Towing Network backed dragster at the NHRA Gator Nationals, one of our biggest national events of 2025, plus we will be working with government offices and public safety organizations across the country to spread the word about our life saving awareness campaign.”

During the show in Chattanooga the team – including founder Randy Meyer and racers Megan Meyer and Deni Jensen – will share their Slow Down Move Over campaign message, autograph mementoes of their races, participate in the International Towing Museum Weekend and pay their respects at the museum’s Name Unveiling Ceremony at the Wall of the Fallen.

The campaign to raise awareness about Slow Down Move Over, for which there are laws in all 50 states, is personal for the Meyer family. They lost family member Joe Meyer while he was operating a tow truck in 2021. Joe encouraged Randy to get into the towing industry and drag racing in 1979 and together they would build and drive cars at the Kansas City drag strip. Randy Meyer was also a Midwest tow truck distributor, founding the Meyer Truck Center in 1989 in Olathe, Kansas. The company was sold in 2023 and last year Randy Meyer Racing teamed up with the Towing & Recovery Association of America, Inc. (TRAA) on a national awareness campaign.

Randy and Megan invite you to advocate for others that have experienced a similar loss and to support the efforts of TRAA. Together we can make a difference.
