Rain Halts First Day of U.S. Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park

Rain showers and cold temperatures forced a delay on Thursday of the highly anticipated U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission at Bradenton Motorsports Park, putting a brief pause on what’s set to be an unforgettable weekend of drag racing.

Fresh off the record-setting Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks, the event marks the next chapter in the inaugural Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service. It also features the second stop in the 2024-25 FuelTech Radial Outlaw Series, alongside thrilling competition in Outlaw 632, the fan-favorite N/T No Time Shootout, and other exciting classes.

“We’re still going to have an amazing event,” said Victor Alvarez, Bradenton Motorsports Park track owner. “We can’t control Mother Nature, but we can control the way we react, and we can’t wait to get on track tomorrow.”

While the wet weather may have dampened the track today, it hasn’t dampened the spirits of racers and fans alike. The quickest field in Pro Modified drag racing history is ready to pick up right where they left off and deliver high-stakes, edge-of-your-seat performances as soon as the skies clear.

The action resumes on Friday, with the Bradenton Motorsports Park crew hard at work ensuring the track is prepped and ready for the weekend. Stay tuned for updates as the historic field sets out to make history again.
