Ozark Raceway Park Names Mark Werdehausen as General Manager

Ozark Raceway Park (ORP) today announced the appointment of longtime small-tire drag racer and recent Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod invitee driver Mark Werdehausen as its new General Manager, effective immediately. With a deep passion for drag racing and a wealth of motorsports management experience, Werdehausen is poised to steer ORP into an exciting new era beginning in 2025.

“I’m happy to come on board to assist in making ORP great again,” Werdehausen said. “It’s not going to happen overnight, but with plenty of cooperation between racers and fans, I feel we can all make it happen together.”

Established in 1977, Ozark Raceway Park has been a cornerstone of Midwest drag racing for over 45 years. The quarter-mile drag strip has seen everything from weekly bracket races to marquee events like the Street Machine Nationals, Titans of 10.5, NoPrepWarz, and nostalgia drag racing showcases—attracting competitors and spectators from across the nation. The friendly, family-oriented atmosphere at ORP, combined with modern amenities like grandstand seating, full-service concessions, and ample parking, has cemented its reputation as a premier destination for motorsports enthusiasts.

Looking ahead, Ozark Raceway Park plans to continue building on its rich heritage with Werdehausen at the helm—expanding event offerings and growing its vibrant racing community. Join us as we embark on this new chapter for ORP.
