M&M Transmission Introduces New Fluid Accumulator

M&M Transmission, a leader in the design and production of drag racing transmissions and torque converters, has announced a new fluid accumulator for use on TH400 and Powerglide transmissions.

“This is a new product we have been working on and testing and finally ready to release,” said M&M Transmission’s Mark Micke. “It is a fluid accumulator that ties into the transmission’s main line pressure circuit and uses CO2 pressure to charge it. It basically maintains constant fluid pressure even during shifts or low fluid level.

“The benefits are quicker shift times, more consistent converter charge pressure in all gears, quicker trans brake set up, and longer clutch pack life,” Micke continued.

Micke added the accumulator will fit any TH400 or Powerglide transmission. M&M currently offers brackets to fit the TH400 and will have Powerglide brackets available soon.

M&M Transmission offers the product as a kit with mounting bracket, fittings, hoses, and preset CO2 regulator, or as just the accumulator alone.
