Killin’ Time Racing Joins Drag Illustrated Winter Series Sponsor Group

Killin’ Time Racing (KTR) has officially joined the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service, further elevating a three-race championship that brings together many of the world’s top Pro Mod teams. With its high-stakes format, marquee drivers, and unprecedented payouts, the Winter Series has rapidly become the premier battleground for Pro Mod drag racing—and KTR’s partnership adds another layer of excitement and credibility to this cutting-edge program.

Steve “Stevie Fast” Jackson—former NHRA Pro Mod world champion, principal at KTR, and multiple-time Drag Illustrated cover star—says the decision to partner with the Winter Series was driven by a desire to give back to the community that keeps the KTR operation thriving.

“We are super excited to partner with the Drag Illustrated Winter Series,” Jackson said. “They’re building something special down there. Our customers and racers keep KTR going all year long, and we’re very excited about giving something back. Super happy to partner with this series, and we’ll see you guys in Florida.”

Wes Buck, Drag Illustrated’s founder and editorial director, has followed Jackson’s rise to prominence over the past 12 years—beginning with Jackson’s first feature on the magazine’s cover when he was making waves as a grudge racer and radial tire contender.

“Today, Stevie [Jackson] is one of the biggest names and most exciting characters in drag racing,” Buck said. “Along the way, he’s built a substantial business supplying parts, engines, complete racing programs, and hub dyno services to this community—critical resources that fuel the sport’s growth. Last year, Stevie and his team unveiled a state-of-the-art facility in Georgia, and I’m proud to partner with them as KTR continues to expand its footprint in drag racing.”

After an electrifying season opener, the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service now heads to its second race—the U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission—at the legendary Bradenton Motorsports Park. With Killin’ Time Racing now in the mix as a major partner, fans can expect a weekend of can’t-miss action as Pro Mod’s biggest stars go head-to-head for historic prizes, championship points, and ultimate bragging rights in one of the class’s most competitive arenas.
