Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Kelly Clontz will lead her race team into the NHRA NAPA Midwest Nationals with ArchKey Solutions, a premier installation and integrated facilities services business that builds, installs and maintains electrical, technologies, and specialty systems nationally, on board her Vance & Hines Motorsports Gen 3 Suzuki Hayabusa. Clontz, co-owner of the team with her husband Chris, will be looking for their first career win at the third national event of the NHRA Countdown.

Clontz, the Director of Estimating for ArchKey Solutions’ East Region, will be hosting guests as well as racing with branding from one of the top ten electrical contractors in the country on her 200 mph Pro Stock Motorcycle.

“I am excited to be representing ArchKey Solutions in St. Louis, especially since they are celebrating 100 years of excellence. I have worked for ArchKey for eight years, and it is an amazing company that I am proud to be a part of,” said Clontz, who finished in the Top Ten in 2023. “The NHRA Countdown playoff races are high energy, and World Wide Technology Raceway is an incredible facility. We are looking forward to showing ArchKey Solutions how much of an impact NHRA drag racing can have as a fan experience and as a recruiting tool for future employees.”

ArchKey Solutions is celebrating 100 years of power and is ranked as the ninth largest electrical and technology contractor in the country with over $1.5 billion in revenue last year. Since 1925, a small yet pioneering company has grown and expanded into a national industry leader. The collaboration with Clontz and her Steamfitter UA Local 602 Pro Stock Motorcycle team not only celebrates the skill and dedication of the trades but also reflects ArchKey’s commitment to empowering professionals across the country.

“We’re incredibly proud to support Kelly in her pursuit of excellence both in her career and on the racetrack,” said Steven Stone, ArchKey Solutions, CEO. “Her drive, discipline, and commitment to performance embody the values we stand for as an organization. This partnership is a powerful way to showcase the strength of our people and the pride we have in the trades.”

Clontz will be highlighting ArchKey Solutions throughout the weekend, including fan engagement events in the NHRA Manufacturer’s Midway, autograph opportunities at her pit area, and on-track performance as she races against the best drag racers in the country. Clontz will be continuing to build on eight years of experience racing in the Pro Stock Motorcycle class, recognized as one of the most competitive categories in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Races are decided by thousandths of a second, and a rider’s reaction time, strength, and concentration are keys to victory.

“There is a considerable amount of overlap when you look at what we are doing on my motorcycle in the pits and on the track with what ArchKey has done over the past 100 years to build their company and people,” said Clontz. “We both need complete attention to every detail, and we also must constantly be looking to improve. We are always looking for ways to make our motorcycle quicker and faster from track to track across the country. ArchKey has built one of the nation’s leading electrical and technology companies in the country by investing in its people and delivering scalable solutions across industries from coast to coast.”

Clontz will start her pursuit for victory in St. Louis with two qualifying sessions on Friday, September 26, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The team will have two more opportunities to grab one of the 16 qualified spots in the field on Saturday, September 27, at 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m., with the final elimination commencing on Sunday, September 28, at 11 a.m. Fans can get more information on the race at www.nhra.com, and they can tune in to the national broadcast throughout the weekend on FS1.
