Jimmy Dale, Michael Poland Announce Lil’ Gangstas Mini Points Series at Speed Promotions Stops in Ohio and Kentucky

Speed Promotions, in partnership with Lil’ Gangstas, is proud to unveil the BTR Mini Point Series – a two-race showdown with $5,000 cash and a BTR sponsorship for the 2026 season on the line for the overall points winner.

Drivers looking to claim the prize must run both events:

  • June 13-14 at National Trail Raceway in Ohio
  • June 20-21 at Beech Bend Raceway in Kentucky

The race format is designed with both competitiveness and accessibility in mind:

  • Friday: $200 buy-in with 100% payback
  • Saturday: FREE entry and a shot at a $10,000 purse

The points system is simple and rewards participation and performance:

  • Registration & Tech: 200 points
  • Each round win: 100 points
  • Saturday winner: Bonus 100 points

To be eligible for the championship payout and the BTR sponsorship, racers must compete in both events. The driver with the highest point total across both weekends will be crowned champion.

“This is just a tease of what’s to come with Lil’ Gangstas over the next year,” said organizers Jimmy Dale and Michael Poland in a joint statement. “We’re excited to see what the future holds and proud to continue bringing grassroots energy back to drag racing.”

Whether you’re chasing the big money or just repping for the culture, the BTR Mini Point Series is a can’t-miss opportunity this summer.
