Inaugural Summit Racing Fling Presented by Total Seal Fires Up in Norwalk

The second half of the 2025 Fling Series season fires back up at the renowned Summit Motorsports Park for the inaugural Summit Racing Equipment Fling at Norwalk presented by Total Seal Piston Rings. The single entry event will host 415 talented top bulb racers and an exclusive field of 32 bottom bulb hitters presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance the week of August 27-31.

Racing action kicks off on OEM Combustion Service Wednesday, where racers will receive time runs to warm up and the top 16 packages of a designated session will get the opportunity to run in the free Coltrin Door and Moulding $5K Shootout. In the evening, 16 door cars and 16 dragsters will battle it out to win a new Race Tech dragster chassis.

The main events feature two $50,000-to-win races on Strange Engineering Friday and ATI Performance Products Saturday, capped off with $30,000-to-win on Function Enterprises Inc. Sunday.

Racers will be watching the leaderboard throughout the week in the $10,000 Points Chase where the winner of the Robco Residential Box Points Fund will receive $5K, a custom champion trophy, and a one-of-a-kind Biondo Trophy Shifter. On the Laris Motorsports Insurance No-Box side, the winner will score $1,500 and a custom champion trophy.

Drivers and their families will receive the full Fling experience with over $50,000 in giveaways for all on property. The best losing packages in rounds 1-3 receive $500 on the spot Friday through Sunday thanks to RAD Torque Systems, Biondo Racing, and FTI Performance. Hoosier Racing Tire and Mickey Thompson present the round 4 and 5 best losing package with sets of slicks up for grabs. Additionally, anyone who buys back in on Friday through Sunday will receive free ice cream courtesy of Autoland Outlets. The Fling Kids Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday will have great prizes for the whole family like Razor scooters, RC cars, toys, and gift cards for moms of little Flingers.

Race fans will be able to catch all of the action live exclusively on the @RaceTheFlings YouTube all week long courtesy of Moser Engineering. The Fling in-house production crew will be bringing three roaming cameras and a drone to provide more vantage points to viewers at home.
