The NHRA celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2026, and Goodyear will mark the occasion with specially branded tires in this weekend’s season-opening NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway in Florida.
The partnership between Goodyear and the NHRA goes back to the early days of the drag racing organization. Today, Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier to NHRA’s top three categories – Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock Car. Its Goodyear Racing Eagle tires are trusted to translate 11,000+ horsepower into traction and control, withstanding g-forces greater than experienced in a space shuttle launch.
These Goodyear Racing Eagle tires will carry a special ‘NHRA 75th’ marking this weekend as the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series gets underway, highlighting the decades-long partnership between these two icons of racing.
