Sunday at the 37th annual Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals presented by PowerEdge delivered a full day of racing in front of a big crowd at Sonoma Raceway. Drag Illustrated contributor Tom Macht was on-site capturing the sights from the 12th stop on the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series tour.

Top Fuel veteran Doug Kalitta picked up his first win of the season, adding a sixth Sonoma victory to his career total. In Funny Car, points leader Austin Prock grabbed his fifth win of the year with a strong run in the final round. Greg Stanfield scored an emotional Pro Stock win, racing his son, Aaron, in the first-ever father-son final round in the class. Richard Gadson earned his second Pro Stock Motorcycle victory after a quick turnaround from a red-light loss in Saturday’s bonus race.

Browse the gallery below for a look at Sunday’s eliminations, including scenes from the water box to the winner’s circle.
