The Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire has long been one of the most anticipated events on the drag racing calendar, and the 2024 edition proved exactly why it continues to earn the title of The Greatest Show in Drag Racing®. Fans packed into Summit Motorsports Park for a night of horsepower, pageantry, and pure entertainment, capped off by the Bader family’s jaw-dropping $150,000 fireworks spectacular. From nitro Funny Cars and Top Fuelers to jet trucks and gassers, every moment delivered big sights and even bigger sound.
This year’s event will set a new benchmark with more than 80 performers taking to the track, air, and skies — the most in Night Under Fire history. Fans will witness high-speed passes from NHRA stars like Ron Capps, Antron Brown, Erica Enders, and Jeg Coughlin Jr., as well as jet-powered showdowns in the North American Jet Car Championship.
The 48th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire, set for Aug. 1-2, 2025, also includes a packed lineup of elite NHRA drivers, Top Alcohol machines, Pro Mods, and a growing list of specialty acts, this year promises to be the biggest yet. Throw in a sky-high flyover, a full slate of bracket racing showdowns, and that signature fireworks finale, and it’s easy to see why this Norwalk tradition continues to be a fan favorite. Whether you were there last year or plan to make your first trip in 2025, one thing’s for sure — this show is one you won’t forget.
