FuelTech Steps Up as Major Sponsor of Drag Illustrated Winter Series Presented by J&A Service

Drag Illustrated announced today that FuelTech has expanded its long-standing relationship with the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service, coming onboard as a major sponsor for the 2025-26 season. The partnership strengthens one of the most meaningful alliances in modern doorslammer drag racing and underscores FuelTech’s commitment to supporting Pro Mod teams and the global doorslammer community.

Few brands are as deeply ingrained in modern high-horsepower racing as FuelTech, whose engine management systems, data suites, and at-track support have become mainstays for racers across Pro Mod, no-prep, radial, and beyond. Their hands-on approach, racer-first mentality, and passion-driven innovation make them a natural fit for the Winter Series, which attracts the most competitive and diverse group of door-car teams in the world.

“We’re genuinely excited to expand our relationship with FuelTech,” said Drag Illustrated Founder and Editorial Director Wes Buck. “I’ve always loved their hands-on approach and their passion-driven nature. They share our vision for Pro Mod and doorslammer drag racing in general, and they’re dedicated to helping us grow and showcase this segment of the sport. This partnership just makes sense, and we’re proud to stand alongside Anderson, Luis, and the entire FuelTech team.”

FuelTech’s involvement continues a years-long relationship with Drag Illustrated and builds on the company’s growing footprint in Pro Mod racing worldwide. From championship programs to grassroots teams, FuelTech has become synonymous with innovation, trackside support, and real-world results.

“We believe doorslammer racing is in a golden era, and the Drag Illustrated Winter Series is the perfect stage to showcase what FuelTech can do,” said Luis de Leon, Chief Operating Officer at FuelTech. “These events bring together so much talent and so many different combinations. To be part of that atmosphere – and help racers extract every ounce of performance – is something we’re extremely excited about. Wes and his team have created a platform where the best in the world test themselves, and we’re thrilled to be right in the middle of it.”

The Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service kicks off December 5-7, 2025, at Bradenton Motorsports Park before continuing in January and February. With FuelTech stepping up as a major sponsor, the 2025-26 season is poised to deliver the most competitive and technologically advanced Winter Series yet.
