Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School Reflects on a Banner Year, Congratulates Its Graduates

Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School is celebrating an extraordinary year of accomplishments from its graduates, who have made waves in the drag racing world. From established champions to emerging talents, the School has been honored to play a role in their successes both on and off the track.

In 2024, several graduates achieved the sport’s most coveted titles:

  • Antron Brown, Austin Prock, and Greg Anderson—NHRA world champions
  • Tyler Hilton—NHRA Heritage Top Fuel champion
  • Amber Franklin Denton—PDRA Pro 632 champion
  • Tony Stewart—NHRA Rookie of the Year

Frank Hawley’s graduates were a dominant force in NHRA competition this season, with 8 of the top 10 Top Fuel drivers and 6 of the top 10 Funny Car drivers coming through the School. Of the 60 national event wins across Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock, an impressive 38 victories were secured by its alumni.

Beyond NHRA, the School’s influence spanned a wide range of racing organizations, including PDRA, NHRDA, WDRA, IHRA, ANDRA, Nostalgia events, Drag & Drive competitions, and grassroots racing at local tracks. Graduates also found success on a global stage, with competitors racing and winning in countries such as Spain, Brazil, the UK, and Australia. Many of these racers not only excel as drivers but also build and maintain their own cars, reflecting their dedication to the sport.

This year, the school expanded its reach internationally by hosting private classes, including a session in Brazil at São Paulo International Dragway. Working with experienced drivers in such a renowned venue highlights the school’s ongoing commitment to developing talent worldwide.

Looking ahead, Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School remains focused on helping aspiring racers launch their careers and supporting experienced drivers in refining their skills. The school continues to leave a lasting impact on the drag racing community and beyond.

The team at Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School expresses its gratitude to everyone who has supported them throughout the year and looks forward to connecting with many of them at PRI.
