The Extreme Outlaw Pro Mod (EOPM) series has announced its inaugural Teets Excavating Extreme Outlaw Top Sportsman (EOTS) race will be contested May 17-18, as part of the Super Chevy Show event at Virginia Motorsports Park. The EOTS will race the 16 fastest qualified cars.
The EOPM is honored to add Top Sportsman while sending out a very special thanks to Wayne Rogers, Glen Teets, Jeff & Brett Nesbitt, Glen Zweig, Carroll Carter, Gene Fries, and Christy Perkins as series sponsors, while helping fulfill a life-long dream of EOPM founder Stuart Williams.
Williams lost his battle with cancer in March of this year, but never lost sight of the EOPM growing into a series of multiple classes competing for a year-end championship without traveling the world over to do so.
The EOTS will be headed up by long-time EOPM staff members TJ Paul and his son, Logan.
There is a one time membership fee of $200 going toward the points fund and a $150 entry fee for car and driver at each event credited to the purse. The purse for the initial event is as follows $2000 Winner, $500 Runner-up, $200 Semis, $150 Quarters, and $75 first-round loser.
