Eat Sleep Race Teams Up with Farmtruck and AZN for Fast Life Fest at Cecil County Dragway

Eat Sleep Race is excited to announce the production of their first official drag race, named Fast Life Fest, in partnership with Farmtruck and AZN from Street Outlaws, FAST KIDS CLUB and Teter Built.

Fast Life Fest will take place at the Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland, on September 15.

The family-friendly event will mark the first no prep drag race ever held at Cecil County Dragway. Jim Halsey, the track’s owner, had previously been hesitant to entertain such events, as they didn’t align with his traditional prepped business model.

However, through a collaborative effort with Farmtruck and AZN, known for their dynamic presence on Street Outlaws, and the enthusiastic support from Teter Built (led by Alex, famous for organizing Power Wheels races), Halsey has agreed to give the no prep event a chance.

The event is open to both imports and domestics, featuring a variety of action-packed activities:

  • Six No Prep Drag Racing Classes
  • Junior Dragsters No Prep Bracket Racing
  • Kids Power-Wheel 60ft Heads Up Drag Racing
  • Car Show
  • Vendors

Brian Mabutas of Eat Sleep Race expressed his excitement.

“Three great groups (Farmtruck and AZN, Eat Sleep Race/FAST KIDS CLUB and Teter Built) are coming together to produce the first no prep race at Cecil County Dragway on Sept 15,” Mabutas said. “Farmtruck and AZN will be bringing their energy from the 405 for a day of action and entertainment. Imports and domestics will be competing on the drag strip in six different classes. The next generation of drag racers will be racing heads up in their power wheels in a scaled-down 60 ft drag strip and bracket racing junior dragsters on the drag strip. The car show will be open to all makes and models with a vendor midway in between all the action.”
