Drag Illustrated Set to Cover Hitman Productions’ Year End Finale Featuring Xtreme 4.840 Shootout

Drag Illustrated (DI) and Hitman Productions are excited to announce a media partnership for Hitman Productions’ 2024 Year End Finale, which will feature the popular Xtreme 4.840 Shootout from October 31 through November 2 at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

Hitman Productions is known for its big-money, heads-up, no-time racing events. Mike “The Hitman” Hill, the founder and promoter of Hitman Productions, is looking forward to collaborating with Drag Illustrated, a leader in the sport’s media, for the 2024 installment of the Year End Finale.

“I’ve watched Drag Illustrated and Wes Buck grow alongside me, my racing and events,” said Hill, who has been on the cover of DI. “This partnership is huge, and I think It will help my event excel. This is a big collaboration to have Drag Illustrated on board with us. This event is something different since it’s no time, and sometimes we feel left out, but this will prove to a lot of people and sponsors that we’ve got a different racing platform. Everybody can come for good, big-money racing.”

Drag Illustrated’s founder and editorial director, Wes Buck, is also looking forward to the partnership, which aligns with DI’s mission to inform, inspire, and educate drag racers from every walk of racing life.

“I’m beyond excited to partner with Hitman Productions for their 2024 Year End Finale and the Xtreme 4.840 Shootout,” said Buck. “This collaboration represents a unique opportunity to highlight the exhilarating no-time racing format and bring attention to the incredible talent and dedication of the drag racing community. This partnership perfectly embodies the DI spirit. We can’t wait to showcase the electrifying action and passion that Mike ‘The Hitman’ Hill and his team bring to the sport.”

One of the standout classes that racers and fans are looking forward to is the Xtreme 4.840 Shootout.

“One class we have that’s been really, really hot, and it’s growing real fast, is called our Xtreme 4.840 Shootout,” explained Hill. “Last year, it paid $57,500. It’s really exciting – everybody’s talking about it in no time [racing].

“We have racers coming from everywhere – Texas, Georgia, Carolina, Florida. Everybody meets at this one spot the first week in November. It’s what we do. It’s getting pretty big and growing,” added “The Hitman.”
