The Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service kicked off in spectacular fashion at the 53rd annual Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks, hosted at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Pro Mod fans tuned in at record-breaking levels, with over 6 million minutes watched on FloRacing—a remarkable 100-percent increase over last year’s Snowbird Outlaw Nationals—and a 76-percent jump in total viewership.

“Seeing us double the number of minutes consumed from last year is a testament to the passion that fans have for Pro Mod racing right now,” said Wes Buck, founder and Editorial Director of Drag Illustrated. “Racers, track staff, series officials—everyone came together to create this moment, and none of it is possible without them. I can’t thank our fans enough for showing up for us and supporting what I believe is the best drag racing in the world.”

“This year’s Snowbird Outlaw Nationals was truly record-breaking for FloRacing,” said Mike Levy, FloSports Vice President of Global Rights Acquisition. “We saw a massive influx of viewers for this event and it was the first time in FloRacing history that the Pro Mod final round, featuring Kye Kelley vs. Ken Quartuccio, achieved our highest number of concurrent viewers. This level of engagement is a testament to how thrilling eighth-mile Pro Mod drag racing can be.”

With the final round shattering concurrency records on FloRacing, Buck echoes the widespread sentiment in the drag racing community that the first race of the Drag illustrated Winter Series represents a turning point in drag racing.

“Given the metrics, I think a case can be made that the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals was the most-watched eighth-mile Pro Mod race of all-time. Now, we turn our attention to the U.S. Street Nationals and do everything we can to continue breaking records – on and off the track.”

After his dramatic final-round performance, Kye Kelley leads the Drag Illustrated Winter Series championship standings heading into the U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission, followed by the marquee Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod.
