Cornwell Tools Expands Racing Partnership with John Force Racing

Cornwell Quality Tools and the more than 800 dealers that support its extensive product inventory today announced a further expansion of a partnership with John Force Racing that includes continuing Official Tool status and associate sponsorship of all JFR racing vehicles.

The cornerstone of the new multi-year agreement is full-season sponsorship of the Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car in which Austin Prock has dominated this year’s Mission Foods Series. Cornwell was the primary sponsor of that car for a majority of the races this season, but not all of them.

“It’s been an amazing partnership with the team these last several years, and we couldn’t be happier to continue as the Official Tool of John Force Racing, and now as the primary sponsor of Austin Prock in the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Funny Car,” said Bob Studenic, President and CEO of Cornwell Quality Tools. “Austin has been a wonderful promoter of the Cornwell Tools brand this NHRA season, helping our team drive franchise engagement and brand recognition. We cannot wait to continue our support of Austin, keeping his positive attitude, fun spirit and winning momentum going strong for the next three years.”

In 2025, however, the sport’s quickest Funny Car will wear Cornwell blue for all 20 events in the world’s premier drag racing series. With one race remaining in the 2024 campaign, Prock is the Funny Car point leader on the strength of a series’ best eight wins and a record-breaking 14 No. 1 starts.

“Everybody at John Force Racing is excited to grow our partnership with Cornwell Tools and build upon the mutual successes we have enjoyed together. Cornwell has the same values we do at JFR: work as a team and have pride in your product,” said Robert Hight, President of John Force Racing. “It is so exciting to see how Cornwell and all the dealers support JFR! We all win as one big team! If all goes to plan, we will be celebrating championship number 23 together very soon!”
