CLM Motorsports Shines at Summer HDAY Event

CLM Motorsports had an exceptional weekend at the Summer HDAY event held at New England Dragway. Known for their strong performances at this venue, the team once again dominated on the track.

Despite challenging track conditions, CLM Motorsports secured the No. 1 qualifier spot with an 8.14-second run at 185 mph after two qualifying attempts. Their strategic approach and tuning paid off as they prepared for race day, fully aware that the track surface would be a critical factor.

In the first round, CLM Motorsports clocked a solid 8.25 seconds at 184 mph, securing a victory. However, post-run inspections revealed a damaged tire, prompting a swift replacement to ensure peak performance. With new tires scuffed in during a mid-track bye run, the team was ready for the semi-finals.

The semi-final round saw CLM Motorsports delivering an 8.33-second pass at 186 mph, earning them a win and lane choice for the finals. The final round was a showdown between teammates, both with identical setups and similar performances throughout the weekend. In a thrilling race, CLM Motorsports clinched the victory with an 8.28-second run at 188 mph.

The weekend concluded with remarkable results: CLM Motorsports not only claimed the top two qualifying positions but also secured both the winner and runner-up spots. Additionally, the team recorded the lowest elapsed time and highest top speed in their class. It was a weekend of exceptional achievement, highlighting the skill and dedication of the entire CLM Motorsports team.
