Chris Bostick is feeling grateful and reflective as he prepares to compete in the penultimate event of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, the Ford Performance NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. The skilled rider of The Surf Signature RV Resorts Suzuki is solidly positioned to land in the Top Ten in the Countdown to the Championship for the first time in his Pro Stock Motorcycle career.

Bostick is making a name for himself on the NHRA circuit thanks to his unique flair and his pioneering efforts in implementing a parachute in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category. With The Surf on his side this season, he’s been connecting with fans across the country, giving them a chance to test their reaction times on his interactive show bike.

“I choose to look at this season with an abundance of gratitude,” shared Bostick. “This year’s Pro Stock Motorcycle category is stacked! These are the best drivers in the world, and I get to race alongside them. It’s truly a dream come true to get to compete on this level and I think I learn more every time I get to go down the track. None of this would be possible without the support and guidance of those around me, especially my better half, Teri. She’s so great with fans and shows genuine interest in everyone we meet out here. I’m lucky to have a partner who encourages me to pursue my passion. At this point in the season, we are just going to have fun doing what we love, for as many laps as we can.”

The Ford Performance NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway runs from October 31 to November 3. Qualifying for the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series begins on Friday, November 1 with sessions at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. followed by two more qualifying opportunities on Saturday, November 2 at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Eliminations will kick off on Sunday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m.
