Carolina No Time Halloween Extravaganza Set to Take Over Piedmont Dragway

Carolina No Time is set to host its annual Halloween Extravaganza at the legendary Piedmont Dragway on October 28-29.

The two-day event will have a total of five classes that include some of the best small tire and motorcycle racing at the “Doorslammer Capital of the World.” On Saturday, NT Outlaw 275, NT Outlaw All Steel All Glass, NT Small Block NOS and NT Come to Win Motorcycles will compete. Then, 4.60 Motorcycles, a local shootout and a grudge racing class will compete on Saturday and Sunday. Plus, there will be Trick-or-Treating both days for the kids and a Halloween costume contest.

“We want people to come and bring their kids and enjoy some good races,” said race promotor Lance Stanford. “We’re a family organization, and we treat our racers and spectators just like family.”

Stanford promises that there will be something for everyone and lots of action on the track.

“With our Outlaw classes, we’ll have free entry,” explained Stanford. “The racers come, and they’ll just pay the admission price and buy a test and tune tech card, and they get to race for the big money for free. It’s a $5,000 free entry race for Outlaw 275 and Outlaw All Steel All Glass. Then we got a sponsor taking care of the Outlaw Small Block nitrous class, so I know the payout will be $1,000 or more.

“Then, the 4.60 bikes, we’ve got over 24, 4.60 motorcycles already locked in. They’re going to run for a big purse because they buy a tech card for $250, but it’s 100% payback. They race for their $250 plus we put $1,000 on top of their purse. For the come-to-win no-time motorcycles, it’s $1,000 with free entry. They get in the race for free as well on Saturday. The locals class will have a buy-in of $200. It will be 100% payback with that $200, and we will add $2,000 on top of their payout as well,” continued Stanford.

Furthermore, Stanford thanked everyone for the support, from the racers and spectators to the sponsors, which include Callies, Reese Brothers Race Cars, Menscer Motorsports and Energy Manufacturing.

“They all make it possible for the racers to compete for these big payouts,” said Stanford.
